Wimbledon Common GOLF CLUB

Just 8 miles from Central London in SW19, we have a fun but challenging woodland course with award winning greens on the beautiful Wimbledon Common. The course on the Common is the second oldest continuing golf course in England and Wales. It was first played on in 1865 so it is not surprising the greens are so good – they have had plenty of time to mature! It’s a 5400 yard par 68 for men and a 5116 yard par 71 for ladies.

After your round of golf, relax in our welcoming Clubhouse or on our outdoor patio, with drinks, sandwiches, and hot food. We have both sky sports and BT sport so we show all major sport in the bar.

We have a very welcoming membership base, with weekly matches and competitions, and a thriving ladies section. As we share the Common with walkers and horse riders we are required to wear a red top for visibility. We have plenty available to hire out if you don’t own one.

The newly redeveloped Golf shop which opened in August 2019 offers a wide range of clothing, equipment and accessories. Also newly opened is our state of the art golf swing performance studio run by Head Professional Charles Sandison-Woods. The studio is equipped with all the latest swing analysis software to improve every aspect of a golfer’s game. We pride ourselves on providing the best value golfing experience in and around London.
