DENHAM GOLF CLUB
Denham Golf Club is one of the leading parkland courses in Buckinghamshire.
The Club was founded in 1910 when work on the construction of the course started and existing farm buildings dating back to the 16th Century were converted into a clubhouse.
The parkland course, designed by Harry Colt, opened for play on the 29thMay 1911. It challenges golfers of all abilities whilst being very playable and benefits from players being able to start from both the 1stand 10thtees due to their close proximity to the Clubhouse. The course measures 6,488 yards par 70 for the men and 5,604yds par 71 for the ladies.
The course has a gravel sub-structure so it drains very well and is therefore rarely closed. This leads to a fast running course in the summer, rewarding ‘bump and run’ golfing skills.
At the Club’s request, a railway station called Denham Golf Club was opened in 1912. It continues to serve the Club today and is only a 20 minute journey from London Marylebone.
The Clubhouse Bar is full of character and serves a good selection of drinks and bar snacks, whilst the Dining Room is renowned for its exceptional food, outstanding wine cellar and high standards of service, and the south facing terrace that overlooks the putting green is a great place to relax and enjoy a drink after your game.
We also offer a fully equipped meeting room if you wish to have a business meeting prior to relaxing on the golf course and enjoying the hospitality in the clubhouse
